After months of planning and refining, WildEd Zim has officially stepped into implementation.

This March, we completed our pre-pilot engagement series in Zimbabwe, working with 120 students across five schools. What we observed in the field was both affirming and urgent.

While students are aware of visible environmental challenges, there is a clear gap in deeper ecological understanding, particularly around biodiversity and the interconnected nature of urban ecosystems. We also observed a significant disparity in environmental exposure between private and public school learners.

These insights are not setbacks. They are direction.

WildEd Zim is being built to respond to this exact gap, through context-specific, specialist-led conservation education that is accessible, practical, and rooted in local realities. We are now preparing for our full launch and scaling phase.

If you are working in conservation education, youth engagement, or are interested in supporting or collaborating, I would genuinely welcome the connection. Please feel free to reach out or message me directly.

This is just the beginning.
