Chita Ranjan Sahoo is presently perusing PhD at Central Research Laboratory, IMS & SUM Hospital and School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (Deemed to be University), Bhubaneswar since 2017. He was former Research Assistant in a National project of TB, funded by NIRT at ICMR-RMRC, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India and former JRF (Junior Research Fellow) at RPRC (Regional Plant Research Centre) Bhubaneswar, Odisha. He obtained his M.Sc. (Master’s degree) in Biotechnology, Utkal University, India in 2014. Chita Ranjan has been published several peer-reviewed papers including research articles, review articles, abstracts, book chapter, and books. Chita Ranjan is an Editorial board members of Language of Environmental Impact Assessments, Conception of Parataxonomy and Concept of Eco-tour. I have over 30 years' experience working in conservation, often at the interface with sustainable development. I have led teams, programmes, and sometimes thinking, at, amongst others, WWF, ZSL and Save the Rhino International. I have a lot of experience of conceiving, designing, implementing and evaluating conservation strategies and interventions. I have a particular interest in identifying and trying to answer some of the 'big' questions around conservation in the 21st century.

Joins Wilmar International Ltd. as Biodiversity Assistant Manager (Sabah region) in October 2012. I manage and overlook the High Conservation Value (HCV) areas within Wilmar Sabah oil palm plantation and to oversee any matter related to conservation such as HCV Management, monitoring, wildlife survey, encroachment issues, training awareness, socialization and also research. My interest is managing on restoring the riparian reserve within oil palm plantation landscape.

I'm a recent masters graduate from the University of York, where I studied Marine Environmental Management. Before that, I completed my undergraduate degree in Marine Biology at Plymouth University. I am currently looking for work in marine management and conservation - my interests include sustainable fisheries management and social aspects of sustainable marine use as well as marine conservation. I am working as Program Officer at Himalayan Nature. I completed my master degree in Environmental Science. My major interest and experience are in biodiversity conservation, wildlife research, climate change and urban environment management

I am a conservation biologist, with proven experience in research development, project management and field research. To date, most of my experience relates to biodiversity in human-modified landscapes. I am devoted to understanding the impact of human-modified landscapes on biodiversity but also the role they play in conservation. My primary areas of focus include multifunctional land management, sustainable agriculture and biodiversity conservation. I am adamant that we can develop and foster land-use practices that provide communities with sustainable livelihoods, whilst conserving local and regional biodiversity.

I am studying Marine Environmental Studies and Management at the University of Chittagong. I major was Marine Science. I am also an environmental activist. I volunteer in some organisations such as Blue-Green Foundation Bangladesh which is working for awareness for nature.

I was Research Fellow at Auburn University studying human-elephant interactions (now alumni!). I have completed my work in the Tsavo Ecosystem of Kenya studying wildlife mitigation measures and working with local and Indigenous communities to understand the drivers of conflict in complex social-ecological systems. I have a wide variety of inter-disciplinary interests including structured decision making, restoration and rewilding, community-based conservation, conservation management and planning, and all things associated with addressing the climate and biodiversity crises. I am Additional Commissioner from Indian Revenue Service (Customs & Indirect Taxes) with vast experience of law enforcement especially in tackling transnational smuggling  including willdife trafficking. Also, as an expert I have been conducting sessions on various aspects of wildlife crimes and its convergence with other serious crimes, legal and enforcement framework to counter it, wildlife cyber crime, OSINT for combating wildlife crime, combating money laundering associated with wildlife crime, CITES, role of Customs in tackling the menace of wildlife crime, Digital Forensics etc. for forest, police, customs and other enforcement agencies' officials. I have also been invited as an expert by UNODC ROSA to train the law enforcement officials of Sri Lanka on combating wildlife cyber crimes.

I am currently the Leave Only Footprints Engagement Coordinator at BCP Council. Over the past few years, I have taken on a few different roles within the organisation, based at Hengistbury Head Nature Reserve following my BSc in Animal Behaviour and alongside completing my MSc in Biodiversity Conservation at Bournemouth University. Within my role, I engage with a wide range of people over a wide range of topics from litter to the local wildlife and habitats, with the aim of reducing negative behaviours and encouraging interest and passion for nature. I am also interested and have experience in collecting and analysing data around these subjects. I have previously held a role as a research assistant with Bournemouth University exploring the most effective ways/methods to engage young people with nature, through running focus groups and literature reviews. I have a special interest in the effect of being outdoors in nature on wellbeing, especially the bereaved, and have started a podcast called The Nature of Loss; sponsored by BCP Council.

A Conservation Biologist who enjoys working with birds as focal species to better understand and contribute to the conservation of the natural world. My work often includes a combination of fieldwork, citizen science, capacity building and some scientific writing. A strong academic and research background has helped me to appreciate the need for a science-driven approach to biodiversity conservation, while several years of working with various professionals, citizen scientists and local communities to design and implement biodiversity conservation projects has given me first-hand insight into the crucial role and importance of empowering and working with people if we must achieve sustainable natural resource management. I also really enjoy the opportunities that studying birds affords me to travel and see the world, and the diverse people and cultures that I have been privileged to experience and work with because of my study of birds.

I am a Primatologist specialized in captive and wild nonhuman primate sociobiology, with a PhD in Evolutionary Biology. I have 17 years of experience in development project management including 5 in Biodiversity Conservation, with experience in East and Central Africa, and the Middle East. I currently live in Ouesso, a city in northern Congo where for the past 2 years I have been coordinating a program called Sustainable Wildlife Management - SWM. SWM is about creating the conditions for rural communities in northern Congo to manage wildlife resources themselves, taking ownership and exploiting them in a sustainable way. As part of the SWM Program, I am responsible for aspects related to the development of alternative activities to hunting (livestock farming), development of social marketing campaigns for more sustainable consumption of animal protein, and mitigation of risk of zoonoses.
