I am a member of Kenya Forest Club where we focus on educating learners on conservation. As a Cartographer I have authored 8 map books for children to create interest in maps and map uses at an early age. This will see them appreciate GIS and Remote sensing early in life as we have applied the technologies in the maps communicating reducing forest cover in parts of the country.  My passion is to communicate to the young, have them appreciate our efforts and be part of the efforts.

Ibrahim, a passionate advocate for wildlife and plant species conservation, has dedicated his career to scientific research and promoting harmonious co-existence between humans and wildlife. Academically, Ibrahim holds a Master of Science degree in Forest and Nature Conservation with a specialization in society and policy from Wageningen University in the Netherlands. Complementing his academic credentials, he earned a Postgraduate Certificate in Peace and Conflict Studies from Coventry University in the UK, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Community Development from the University of Bosaso in Somalia. Driven by a thirst for knowledge, Ibrahim aspires to pursue a PhD in the near future. With over a decade of experience in the non-profit biodiversity conservation sector and natural resource management in Somalia, Ibrahim brings a wealth of expertise to his work. He has collaborated with numerous international NGOs, UN agencies, and think tanks, leveraging his strong research-oriented and management background to drive impactful conservation initiatives. Recognizing the need for a national organization with a broader focus on wildlife and plant species conservation, Ibrahim founded the www.speciessavior.org in 2019. As a researcher, Ibrahim has conducted extensive field analyses in the frankincense harvesting regions of Somalia, and has authored numerous research papers and articles on frankincense sites management and conservation status.

I am Opeyemi Blessing OYAWALE, a first-class wildlife and ecotourism management graduate from the prestigious University of Ibadan, Nigeria, fueled by a deep passion for wildlife research and conservation consultancy. My academic journey has been a quest to understand and contribute to the delicate balance between humanity and the natural world. With a firm foundation in wildlife and ecotourism management, I am on a dedicated path towards becoming a wildlife researcher and consultant. I’m associate researcher in Ecology and sustainable use of natural resources, passionate about biodiversity conservation. I’m also a young leader, environmental activist and member of Togolese Society for Nature Conservation (AGBO-ZEGUE NGO), funder of Togo Youth Biodiversity Network (GYBN-TOGO) and coordinator of Ecologie Universelle NGO. With over five years' experience in youth environmental engagement, I holds a master's degree in Ecology and Wildlife Resource Management from the University of Lomé. For the past four years, I has been defending environmental protection rights, in particular the conservation of Biodiversity, by organizing training sessions, mass awareness-raising, conference-debates for communities, especially young people, and field research activities.  Indeed, since 2019, I have started to carry out research work on biodiversity management and conservation. I participated in several field research activities on different zoological groups (reptiles, amphibians, mammals and birds) under the supervision of Dr. Gabriel Hoinsoudé SEGNIAGBETO, full professor and deputy director of the Laboratory of Ecology and Ecotoxicology (LaEE) at the University of Lomé. I’m also working on several conservation projects for the NGO AGBO-ZEGUE in Togo on natural resources management (mangroves, protected areas, reptiles, amphibian’s conservation and especially marine mammals and sea turtles monitoring in Togo). Since 2021, I'm been a staff member of AGBO-ZEGUE NGO. This new experience enabled me to take up the position of program manager for ecological monitoring of marine turtles from September 1, 2022 to date. Over the past two years, I have worked with specialists in zoology, epidemiology, host and symbiont biology and eco-immunology from Chicago and California to carry out research on Togolese fauna.

My background is mainly in species conservation, education and capacity development. I researched mother-young interactions in gorillas and chimpanzees, in captivity and the wild. After that, I worked for three years in Indonesia, where I developed and implemented youth ambassador and community engagement programmes on local and regional scales. I work as Community Manager at WildHub since 2020, and I am an Associate Member of the Durrell Institute of Conservation and Ecology (DICE) at the University of Kent where I obtained my PhD on capacity development for conservation in 2022. 

This is Aditi Sharma and I am a Veterinarian. I completed my Masters in Veterinary Surgery & Radiology in 2004. I did a PG Diploma in Advanced Wildlife Management from the Wildlife Institute of India in 2015 & PG Diploma in One Health from COHORT, Kerela in 2023. I served the Department of Animal Husbandry in Uttarakhand State Government as Senior Veterinary Officer for 20 years and retired voluntarily on 31st January 2023 to continue as a Freelancer Wildlife Consultant. Currently, I am working on three projects related to Wildlife Health, One Health & Human-Wildlife Conflict Mitigation. I served in Rajaji Tiger Reserve in Northern India for 5 years from 2015-2020.  I am the Founder of two public charitable Trusts, one works for women's empowerment & safety and the other works for environment conservation. 

I am a third-year student at African Leadership University pursuing a Bachelor of Global Challenges degree, graduating in June 2024. I'm passionate about working in the environmental and wildlife conservation industry to use skills gained from my tertiary education and make a difference as a research professional. I previously worked as a research intern on Land use activities at ALU School of wildlife conservation.
