As a fan of outdoor sports, I’ve always been fascinated by nature and the complexities of our ecosystem, it makes me want to do all I can to preserve nature and see it flourish. Hence, in 2018 I've created Motion Aptitude. With our animations and illustrations, we’ve been helping universities and organisations sharing stories and scientific studies related to Environmental Science and other allied disciplines such as Biodiversity, Ecology, Wildlife Conservation and Animal Welfare. Hello! I'm a Conservationist with a background in anthropology and a passion for delving into cross-cultural relationships with the environment. Right now, my main focus is my work with AimHi Earth, the education-to-action organisation on a mission to equip people and organisations with the essential understanding, skills and ideas needed to overcome the climate and nature crisis and ensure a healthier, fairer, more prosperous future.

I am an interdisciplinary conservation scientist, passionate about pragmatic win-win solutions for both nature and people. I'm interested in affecting evidence-based, proactive policy- and decision-making (especially through horizon scanning), as well sustainable and effective conservation strategies, particularly by unlocking entrepreneurial opportunities. A few of my current and previous projects involve biodiversity-friendly agriculture in Uganda; locally co-managed marine areas in Kenya, Tanzania, Mozambique; global illegal wildlife trade; human-wildlife conflicts in Zambia. I am a 2022 Women for the Environment Africa fellow, Kenyan EAGL member, IUCN WCPA member and an Oxford Saïd Business School Ideas2Impact fellow.

Hi all, I am a passionate freelance conservationists and for the last 14 years, I have been working independently and at times in teams for various organizations.  I have developed a series of networks that are cross cutting in nature and this has built my resilience and enthusiasm to work successfully on  multidisciplinary projects. I am a proactive quick learner with tangible registered successes across board. Therefore, joining wildhub fraternity with the expectation of demonstrating how meaningful networks can benefit and save mother nature through experience sharing among others. Speciality Interpretative solutions in aerial imaging for wildlife survey, land use, human, automobile and machine learning (ML). I specialize in interpreting large volumes of high-resolution aerial, vertical and oblique images (12-36 mega pixels, compile the geo-referenced information into comprehensive CSV metadata bases and other formats such as  web based algorithms (axix- axis, bounding boxing), JSON, COCO and YOLO  for population analysis. I have also particular interest in bulk annotation for object detection using VIA in the last five years  for different organizations. 

I am a recent graduate of Dalhousie University (BsC Marine Biology – Certificate in Impact Assessment). My main interests are marine ecology, ecosystem service valuation and conservation finance among many others.  As a conservation catalyst (volunteer), I hope to meet and speak with experts in their field to broaden my knowledge while providing information to the public on the topics at hand. As Communications Manager for the World Cetacean Alliance, I develop communications materials and deliver campaigns to support the WCA in its valuable mission to protect whales, dolphins, porpoises and their habitats. I am a trained biologist and primatologist passionate about wildlife conservation, specifically conservation medicine (one health); the intersect between wildlife, ecosystem and human health. My interests span primatology, marine science, veterinary medicine, public health, human-wildlife interactions, community-based conservation, sustainable development, deforestation and ecotourism. I received my BA in Biology and Environmental Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz. I worked with the Schusterman Group: Pinniped Cognition and Sensory Systems Laboratory 
at the Long Marine Laboratory, assisting set regulation standards on marine mammal noise pollution for the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service. I completed my MSc in Primate Conservation at Oxford Brookes University in 2011. Working closely with the Uganda Wildlife Authority and Conservation Through Public Health my independent research project focused on disease transmission risks between humans and mountain gorillas of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Uganda. Following my MSc I directed the Rwanda based nonprofit Art of Conservation, using the arts and creative learning to teach children and their families about living healthy, and helped launch the local offshoot nonprofit Conservation Heritage-Turambe. I work with many nonprofits and professionals across the globe using conferences, events, publications, photography, film and digital media/marketing to share my experiences and knowledge. Between my formal education I have worked as a veterinary technician for over seven years and lived in six continents. I am passionate about our world, exploring new places and cultures, meeting unique and extraordinary people, learning, photography, film and would like to improve the health and livelihood of our planet through work as a conservationist, scientist and filmmaker. I am currently working on a feature length wildlife multimedia project, The Great Call, and an educational one health short on my Master’s work regarding safe mountain gorilla trekking protocols.
