Je suis Capitaine Alassane Gueye, Ingénieur des Eaux et Forêts, Chasses, Adjoint à l’Inspecteur du service Régional des Eaux et Forêts de Kédougou. Je suis diplômé de l’Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Agriculture(ENSA) de Thiès avec comme spécialité Foresterie et Environnement. Aprés cinq année en service à Kédougou(Senegal) en qualité d'adjoint à l'inspecteur régional des Eaux et Forêts, Chasses, je suis récemment  affecté dans la région de Kaolack pour poursuivre ma mission dans l'administration forestiére. Fort de plusieurs années d’expérience dans la région de Kédougou en suivi-évaluation, en études d’impact environnemental et en gestion des ressources naturelles, je suis convaincu que mon expertise peut contribuer efficacement aux objectifs environnementaux et sociaux de votre entreprise. Mon parcours m’a permis de développer une expertise approfondie en gestion environnementale, en suivi des écosystèmes, ainsi qu’en évaluation des impacts des projets miniers sur l’environnement et les communautés locales. J’ai notamment travaillé sur des projets de reboisement, de suivi des mangroves et de gestion intégrée des zones humides, en lien avec les principes du développement durable et des normes internationales. Mon expérience en suivi-évaluation me confère une capacité analytique et méthodologique avérée, essentielle pour assurer un suivi rigoureux des indicateurs de performance environnementale et sociale. Je maîtrise les outils de cartographie SIG et de télédétection, indispensables pour l’évaluation et le suivi des transformations du paysage dans un contexte d’exploitation minière.  Motivé, rigoureux et doté d’un excellent esprit d’équipe, je suis prêt à m’investir pleinement dans vos projets et à relever les défis environnementaux liés à vos activités. I am eager to join wildHub to help protect both people and wildlife by appying my skills in Environmental monitoring and public health. As Environmental Health Technician i see a unique opportunity to contribute to wildHub's mission of conserving wildlife and natural habitants while promoting sustainable practices that benefit local communities. Damas has MSc in Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation for Water Resources and Environment Management from University of Twenty in Netherlands, is a well-trained Civil & Water Resources Engineer and Environment Expert. his expertise lies in areas of Hydrological Modeling, WASH, community-based natural resources management, institutional strengthening, GIS and Remote Sensing, governance, Integrated Water Resources Management, Climate Change, Environmental Impact Assessment, Payment for Ecosystem Services, Strategic Environmental Assessment, Development of Land use and Forest Management plans, Stakeholders engagement in development process and Resources mobilization, Forest Landscape Restoration, Wetland mapping and monitoring, Project Monitoring and Evaluation and Design of hydro-meteorological monitoring stations. He possesses 12 years of progressive practical experience in the Water and Conservation sector in Tanzania. He has hands-on experience in planning, designing, managing, and executing Water Resources Management Projects as well as Conservation Programs. Damas has worked with various organizations including the Ministry of Water in Tanzania as Hydrologist he was involved in the development of Integrated Water Resources Development and Management Plan (IWRMDP) of the Lake Nyasa Basin Water Board, Songwe River Basin Management Plan (SRBMP), He has also been working with African Wildlife Foundation (AWF-International Conservation Organization) coordinating water resources management programs, and he is currently working with WWF as Program Executant WASH and IWRM. He is mainly responsible with coordination and delivery of Mara River Catchment Conservation (MRC) Project (USAID funded Project) and Mara Wetland Conservation Project (WetCoP) in the Serengeti - Mara sub-landscape of the Southern Kenya – Northern Tanzania (SOKNOT) Landscape.

An explorer and an aspirant biodiversity conservation researcher. I seek to delve deeper into the study of the human-nature nexus and strive to foster more harmonious coexistence. I have gained brief experience in wildlife conservation at the Creative Conservation Alliance, working with Western Hoolock Gibbons and a few other wild animals. I am also working as an Associate Trainer at Mekateam, a game-based pedagogy where I provide training on basic climate literacy and biodiversity conservation to youth. Moreover, I synthesize and express my understanding of biodiversity and the natural world through my initiative, 'Toru.' Currently, I am undertaking research on Asian Elephants addressing the human-elephant conflict in Bangladesh.

My research focus is the cultural and utilitarian ways rural communities value wildlife with a focus on endangered apes in the Democratic Republic of Congo. I used mixed methods including doing interviews with community members and reconnaissance walks in adjacent village forests. My goal is to work for a conservation organization that partners with communities to find conservation solutions and implement initiatives that benefit both people and animals relevant to the local context. 

Hi!  I am an earth advocate who is passionate about saving our Oceans. I am HSA certified and help disabled veterans heal through the power of the water via SCUBA as a scuba buddy.  I am also part of the leadership team of DEEP foundation Inc. Where we connect families to the environment through conservation education and engaging in local clean up efforts. Often partnering with local National Park for conservation events. My favorite being Coralpalooza and dives against debris. 

I am an Economist and Researcher who is passionate about the conservation, biodiversity, nature based solutions and preservation of the ecosystem and the environment. I have experience as a reviewer and policy advocate.  I look forward to finding the like-minded people and learn from one another.

I was born in Kenya and have lived i the UK for 42 years now. My many years of working with small businesses and running various events to raise the profile of the businesses, has landed me a post for fundraiser Trustee for a UK wildlife Hospital. The founders of the hospital are very seasoned friends of mine and their dedication to saving every wildlife animal bird that comes through their door, is simply inspirational.  Therefore, I want to learn more about writing funding applications and grant applications. I also want to share my experiences of what has worked for us and what has not. Hopefully, we can all become better at doing what we do, through skill sharing.

As a promoter of culture and diversity, Gerald Nkusi is a travel ecopreneur with Adventure Afrika and founder of Home of Kigezi (a Museum of Living Culture and Natural History), Nkunga Eco Village, and the Food Forest Africa movement. His roots and home are in Kisoro, a part of the Kigezi region in Uganda.
