🐋 About the course
The WCA created the first internationally recognised standard for responsible whale watching to promote ethical and sustainable wildlife tourism worldwide.
This online course will teach you how to use our global best practice to become a great guide by ensuring the welfare of wild whales and dolphins and the safety of your passengers.
The course also covers how to provide a memorable experience for your passengers, including tips on what kind of information to share and different ways of sharing it, as well as how to put sustainability at the heart of your work as a guide.

As Communications Manager for the World Cetacean Alliance, I develop communications materials and deliver campaigns to support the WCA in its valuable mission to protect whales, dolphins, porpoises and their habitats.
Previously, I was a Digital Communications volunteer with WildTeam UK, and worked as a designer in the digital learning industry for several years.
