Hello everyone.
I am Ayomide Oluwaseun Adereti. I can see how my name can be a tongue twister especially for those who aren't used to it 😅, so you can just call me Ayo. I am a veterinarian from Nigeria who graduated in 2023 so it's fair to say that I am still learning the ropes of the veterinary practice. I have always been interested in wildlife and nature conservation but I actually got into this community with the help of my boss and mentor— Dr Uche Anyaorah, who is also a phenomenal vet from Nigeria. I have understudied him for a year, assisting in managing wildlife cases involving sclater's monkeys from oji river, rescued tortoises, ostriches and so on. I look forward to connecting with members of this thoughtful community, engaging in progressive conversations about wildlife conservation, participating in activities and sharing unique perspectives. I am also keen on related research and would appreciate direction towards such opportunities. I look forward to sharing my knowledge and experiences with Wildhub.
Absolutely stoked to be here.

Welcome, Ayo!
It's fantastic to have you join our community. Your experience and passion for wildlife and nature conservation are truly inspiring. It's wonderful to hear about your work with Dr. Uche Anyaorah and the incredible wildlife cases you've managed. I'm sure your unique insights and enthusiasm will be a great addition to our discussions and activities.
I can relate to the feeling of being a new vet, as I recently graduated myself. Despite having done internships since my second year of university, I still feel there's always more to learn and a constant drive to improve. It's a great thing to have a supportive community and people to learn from!
Looking forward to learning from you and collaborating on conservation efforts.
Welcome aboard!

A warm welcome to WildHub, Ayo! Wonderful to have you join us and thank you for sharing about your background and the positive words about @Uchenna H Anyaorah - we are grateful to have him in our WildHub community as one of our Core Community members wearing various "hats"!
