Hello everyone,

After a long career in social care, where I gained many skills, I am now looking for an opportunity to work in wildlife conservation. I have a BSc in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation. I am highly adaptable, hard-working, and an excellent communicator. I am looking for an employer who is willing to take a risk and employ someone of my age who is at the beginning of their conservation career. I am passionate about being part of the solution and supporting a project and team to achieve their goals. I am willing and able to relocate.

I have a BSc in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation. I currently run my own Business in Animal Care. My passion is Conservation, and I have just applied to complete my MSc in Primate Conservation. I am currently volunteering for the Stepping Stones Project at The National Trust. At 53 years young, I am just beginning my conservation journey! I would love to be involved with a rewilding project, but I would happily contribute to any conservation efforts.

Hi Liz! Thanks for your post. I'd definitely recommend checking out the posts on WildHub and trying to connect with people there, as sometimes job opportunities are put on that. Personally I've also had some success from setting up a LinkedIn profile and following as many conservation orgs as possible, jobs are posted there a lot, as well as following some facebook groups like Wildlife Workers Network which have a variety of paid and volunteer conservation posts. Environment Jobs could also be a good place to look. Good luck!
