Like this room and thanks for the invitation to join.

Like you all, I believe that we can work together to save wildlife and wild places. My particular passion is empowering conservationists to have more of a positive, measurable impact through training and peer to peer support. I am always amazed at how complex our work is as conservationists but how little training support there is out there to enable us to do all the work we need to do in order to make a difference. But on the optimistic side of things - that means that we can really help conservationists by providing some of their training needs. To provide great training we also need to know about what conservation is working and why, so I am very interested to hear any tales of optimism that positive change that members of this room can share. Also very excited about working with you all to see what we can achieve collaboratively under the conservationNOW banner.

I help run a UK charity that builds the capacity of conservationists to plan, implement, monitor, and report on their work. I also have a fair bit of experience in tiger and sea turtle conservation.
