In this 4min video I share 6 tips & show 3 best practices of nature NGOs that nailed it.

One Earth

  1. Easy payment box - they want to give you money make it easy
  2. Other ways to give - this method not for everyone, create alternatives

Coral gardeners

  1. How the money will be used - ensures that money is not wasted
  2. Cross-sell - show them the range of your products

Just Diggit

  1. Clear again on what you do - reemphasize how donors help in your mission
  2. Business - 1 business client probably generates the same amount as hundred of individual donors

If you implement those 6 quick fixes, I promise you that you will see your donation numbers rise.

Hi Oliver, thanks for sharing this useful resource: I really like how you cover practical tips in only 4 minutes (perfect for viewers with little time!) and that you have added a summary in this post as well. Especially the Coral Gardeners site under "amplify your impact" (cross-sell) was a useful example to me.

I have added your post to our Podcasts & webinars (recordings) channel and Grant opportunities room, so that our members who opted in for those will be notified of this new content.

Another way to increase your content views is to embed your video into the post. Please find more information on how to do this here.

Being a bit cheeky, but what is the step-by-step action list that you have put together? Look forward to learning more from you.

@Caitlin Turner : how are things progressing with your new marine conservation NGO? Perhaps Oliver's resources could be useful to you :)

@Matt Barker : maybe these tactics can provide inspiration for our charity's site?
