I am an Ecologist by training. My research interests have focused on : Relations between protected areas and local communities; Wildlife conservation; Community Building; Environmental governance ; Conflict management ; Climate change.

I am an early career conservationist interested in wildlife research, particularly behavioural ecology, and how this feeds into conservation. i have extensive fieldwork experience with different species and some experience with team and project management. I would like to gain more management experience and continue to expand my fieldwork, research and analytical skills.

Hey everyone! I am an environmental science undergraduate interested in Geographic and Satellite Data Science. As a student I made it my priority to have experience on different paths, such as soil science, behavior and distribution ecology studies, and mesocosms experiments.

A Florida native and University of West Florida alum, she has pursued advanced studies in Tropical Forest Landscapes Conservation and Restoration at Yale University. She has expanded her knowledge in Science Communication and Sustainable Development Goals through Erasmus University Rotterdam. Additionally, she has gained expertise in Large Marine Ecosystems' Assessment and Management from Cape Town University. In addition to her role as an ecopreneur, she actively engages in volunteer work with environmental and conservation organizations, as well as outreach groups, using her professional skills to contribute meaningfully to the assistance of others.

My career started as a volunteer diving with Coral Cay Conservation in Fiji, which got me hooked to become a marine biologist. Currently, I'm working as a marine scientist for an environmental consultancy (5OES) based in Oman, which I've done for the past 14 years. My work encompasses marine environmental monitoring, baseline surveys, conservation and research projects plus training. I studied for my BSc in marine and freshwater biology at Aberystwyth University and then an MSc in marine environmental protection at Bangor University, UK. In between working for 5OES I have also worked with the Dept. of Environment, Cayman Islands Government as a field research assistant. I'm a PADI Assistant Instructor as well as an AMSO Instructor (https://www.amso.ae/) My interests include sea turtle conservation & rehab, cetacean research & rescue, coral monitoring & research, plus outreach & education. I love travelling and have had the fortune to work in the Caribbean, UK, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE and Fiji where I've met some wonderful people in the field. 

Debs has been working with schools and community groups for  over 16 years.  She is passionate about environmental, youth and well-being projects and has gained a great deal of experience in developing, funding, delivering and managing these areas while working with Groundwork Trusts between 2011 and 2018 as well as local authorities and youth and environmental charities.

I am a 29 year old man and i have a bachelor of environmental science degree in natural resources management with  expertise in mainly wildlife management and  forestry management. I am interested in conservation hence my decision to join this programme as i feel it will increase my knowledge on the project planning and conservation which is a huge plus in my development in the sector. 

As Programme Director for Selamatkan Yaki, an integrated species conservation programme based in Northern Sulawesi, Indonesia I am responsible for planning and rolling out various projects to work towards our objectives across a multiple year framework. Our programme works towards protecting the habitat and remaining populations of the Critically Endangered Sulawesi crested black macaque (Macaca nigra), whilst supporting local initiatives, developing alternatives to hunting and capacity building for the local people. I am also the Co-Founder of Lestari Environmental Education Consultancy. Lestari cultivates regenerative change through innovative and engaging social science approaches. Drawing from a rich resource and experience base of behavioural chance best practice, Lestari offers a service to academic institutions, NGOs, businesses and other change makers across the following central domains: advocacy and communications, facilitation, and research and evaluation. Collaborative pathways are catalysed to undertake transformative research, develop strategy and policy and facilitate events and training such as participatory workshops and nature-based experiential learning to foster change. In addition to this role, I am undertaking a part time PhD in Human Geography, primarily focused on the understudied area of conservation advocacy. Integrated into the programme, this study examines anthropological causes of species' declines and potential mitigation strategies based on behavioural change mechanisms such as community based social marketing. It is predicted that the mutual and synergistic goals of filling gaps in our understanding of mechanisms of advocacy whilst enhancing in-situ conservation strategies will be achieved. Previous positions have seen the development of my experience in primate conservation and research as a primatologist for Operation Wallacea in Sulawesi and conducting research on primate health in Kalimantan, Indonesian Borneo. In addition to my field experience, I have been involved in ex-situ management, working as experienced keeper in the primate department and quarantine at Stichting AAP in The Netherlands. I completed an MSc in Primate Conservation at Oxford Brookes University, UK in 2010. With this range of experience I have developed a commitment for working in conservation to support efforts to halt the loss of biodiversity and live in harmony with our fellow primates.

I'm a researcher and teacher at the University of Calabar, Nigeria where I teach modules in Ecology and Botany. Seven years and counting on the fantastic journey of academia where I guide and mentor young people to become better than I am. My research is focused on the role of tropical forests (rainforests and mangroves) and agroecosystems in climate change mitigation through carbon sequestration.

I have a MSc in Zoo Conservation Biology with Distinction from the University of Plymouth, linked with Paignton Zoo Environmental Park; the Wild Planet Trust. During my MSc, WildTeam gave a presentation on conservation planning, further teaching me of the fundamental importance of planning for a successful conservation project. In the future, I would like to complete WildTeam's Project Management for Wildlife Conservation training so I can plan and manage such projects as the one I am currently working on.

I help run a UK charity that builds the capacity of conservationists to plan, implement, monitor, and report on their work. I also have a fair bit of experience in tiger and sea turtle conservation.

I am a recent graduate of Dalhousie University (BsC Marine Biology – Certificate in Impact Assessment). My main interests are marine ecology, ecosystem service valuation and conservation finance among many others.  As a conservation catalyst (volunteer), I hope to meet and speak with experts in their field to broaden my knowledge while providing information to the public on the topics at hand.
