The Africa Impact Fundraising (AIF) Grant Program is a new initiative by the New Africa Fund aimed at empowering African NGOs, community-based organizations, and social enterprises to address the pressing need for funding and fundraising expertise.

Selected organizations will start with an online training program focused on small donor campaigns. They will then put their skills into action during a 30-day fundraising challenge, with the opportunity to secure up to $5,000 USD in matching funds.

Top-performing organizations will be invited to the training center in Kigali, Rwanda, for a week-long intensive workshop covering critical aspects of fundraising, including financial management, marketing, communications, grant writing, donor research, cultivation and retention, individual donor campaigns, and local fundraising strategies.

🌍 Such an inspiring initiative, thank you for sharing this, Fairuse! The Africa Impact Fundraising Grant Program resonates deeply with the challenges many grassroots organizations face, especially in navigating the fundraising landscape.

👏 I'm especially thrilled to see a focus on empowering African NGOs and social enterprises through skill-building and local strategies. As someone passionate about nurturing youth-led conservation and community-based impact, I see so much potential in this kind of hands-on support.

🌱 Looking forward to seeing how this program uplifts diverse changemakers across the continent, and maybe even collaborating with or learning from participants!

I will share it with others in the organization I am in. @Walter Ogwai Ochieng
