Hello everyone, I'm Paul

And this is a little greeting and introduction.

After studying Environmental Management at the University of Worcester, I've worked for a variety of conservation organisations across the UK focussing mainly on habitat management and creation.

I currently work as the Reserve officer for Leicestershire and Rutland Wildlife Trust at Rutland Water Nature Reserve. Although I work at one of the UKs top inland Birding/wetland sites, my areas of iterest/specialism are more along the lines of botany and woodland management. But due to the nature of my work I'm a bit of a Jack of all trades.

Rutland Water was the first site in England to re-introduce Ospreys and the project has been a huge success. Following in the footseps of such a succesful project, I thought I'd best get some formal training in Project management, so have signed up to the Wildteam Project Managamenet for Wildlife Conservation course.

Looking forward to gaining some new skills and knowledge.

Paul Trevor

Hi Paul, welcome to WildHub! I recognise what you are describing being a 'Jack of all trades' - seems like many of us are in conservation! Have a good training and great to be connected.
