I am a grad student at Miami University. I am in a program for a masters in biology with a focus on conservation. This year, I am doing a literature review and interviews for my independent project. I am focusing on Orangutan (Bornean) reintroduction, more specifically, how adult male solidarity impacts their conservation. If you know of anyone I should talk to or any relevant research, please let me know! I am trying to gather as much information as possible within the project time limit.

Hi Hope,

BOS (Bornean Orangutan Survival Foundation) and OFI (Orangutan Foundation International) have very successful reintroduction programs in Borneo. You could reach out to those organisations for some information, contacts and possible literature.

Hope this helps

Thank you for your input! I have come across some of their research in the literature, but I will reach out and see if I can get in contact with someone in the program.

Thank you!
