Thank you for welcoming me into this community. I am presently a student at DICE and most formerly I was a wildlife inspector for the US Fish and Wildlife Service in New York, USA. Before that I went through various iterations of ecologically-related work and study that instilled within me a passion for extolling the benefits of biodiversity and experiencing wild spaces.

As mentioned in my bio, my prospective foci are contributing to an improved (and more inclusive) dialogue around sustainable wildlife trade and its benefits, and developing efficient tools for wildlife trade regulators to better characterize spatial pathways and trafficking baselines.

I look forward to learning all that I can from you and I hope to be able to offer any insight of my own in return.

Growing up I used to wander off to look for invertebrates and herps. I still do, obviously, but what used to be a behavioral quirk has since developed into professional goals. At present, I am pursuing a Master of Science in International Wildlife Trade and Conservation through DICE. I hope to reconcile my academic experience with my professional expertise as a USFWS Wildlife Inspector and work towards a better understanding of the conservation-crime convergence. My priorities include developing strategies to improve identification of trafficking pathways and to contribute to a more inclusive international wildlife trade dialogue.
